Who Won? VP Debate

After last night's VP I'm left with the question - Does Sarah Palin have the ABILITY to answer a QUESTION??? With the history of the Charles Gibson and Katie Couric interview, it became obvious that Palin cannot call upon her wisdom to answer a question with intelligence and articulated thought. To have her REFUSE to answer the questions - time after time - leads me to believe that she can "read" a speech and memorize lines to "parrot," whenever it is her turn, anything that she can remember from her memorized script -- is frightening and dangerous. In no way can she represent the United States with dignity, presence and respect as a true States Person.

Thank you, Joe Beiden, for resisting the temptation and seduction of moving to the intellect of the "mediocre" to react to the "delivery of the absurd" from Palin. We need a true STATESMAN with the intelligence, wisdom, dignity, integrity to lead a deeply troubled nation --- and you deserve our vote!

A blunder!!! Towards the end of the debate Palin shrugged off the last 8 years by describing them as "a blunder" and said every presidential administration makes blunders. Soooo, does that mean she thinks the deficit is a mere blunder, the deaths and destruction caused by the war in Iraq is just a blunder, our standing in the international community and the economic situation we face is a BLUNDER? I'm surprised she didn't just say "Oops."

I found her "folksy" delivery to be insulting and condescending, especially her comment about Mrs. Beiden being a teacher, "Bless her heart," Palin said, "She will be rewarded in Heaven."

It almost came off like she was campaigning for the next election. Last week she made fun of Biden because he's old and called herself the "new energy". And in the debate she refused to defend McCain's votes that could be twisted into tax increase by partisans.

Most of all, I was so impressed by Biden. I liked him before but now he's my new hero.
